This Glazed Bacon Wrapped Chicken Breast Recipe is so simple and delicious! So tender, juicy, and flavorful! Glazing the bacon with barbecue sauce adds extra smokiness and sweetness. Quick and easy recipe that your family will love!
Ingredients
3 lb chicken breast
10-12 bacon strips
½ cup Sweet Baby Ray’s Barbecue Sauce
1 teaspoon of onion powder
1 ½ teaspoon of garlic powder
½ teaspoon of ground coriander
2 teaspoons of Johnny’s seasoning salt
1. Preheat the oven to 400 F.
2. Mix all the spices together.
3. Rinse and pat dry the chicken breast and cut into about 3 x 4 inch pieces. Place them in a large bowl and rub them with your mixed spices.
4. Glaze the bacon with barbecue sauce and wrap each piece of chicken breast.
5. To get a better texture on the bacon place a rack on a baking sheet and bake the chicken in a 400 F preheated oven on the rack uncovered for 20 minutes then turn the heat up to 425 F and bake another 20 – 25 minutes.
6. Once the chicken is ready check the bacon if it needs needs to be more crispy, you can boil it for about 2 – 3 minutes to get desired color.
